Summary

First draft of our story

This is the story of Tonto the Elephant. Tonto is an elephant with stripes painted on his back. His friend the Monkey was the artist who painted the stripes. Tonto wanted to fit in the group of cool zebras at any cost. . .but he just couldn't find the way.
After being rejected by the zebras, his adventure continues as he tries relentlessly to be accepted by different animals. Tonto fails countless times because he is different, but every now and then someone sees beyond his appearances and becomes a new friend.
The new friends help him change into what he thinks he can be, but something always looks off. At the end, one of the friends ask him "why not be an elephant?" and everyone in the group -including Tonto, realize that they all are different and cool; and that is what makes them unique an special.
